Regular Examinations
Regular Examinations allow your dentist to identify problems at their earliest and most treatable stages.
Diagnostic Radiographs
These are one of the most important tools dentists have for diagnosing dental and oral disease. We strive to use the minimal number of radiographs to effectively diagnose oral disease, while minimizing radiation exposure. To aid in this we use only digital x-rays. Digital radiography has some clear advantages:
- Vastly reduces radiation exposure to patients.
- Environmentally sustainable as there are no messy developing solutions, lead or film waste.
- Instant images are more efficient.
- Images can be viewed on a large screen so patients can see and learn what is going on in their mouths.
Panorex radiographs
These larger field images show the jaws and sinuses and can be very useful to diagnose the condition of wisdom teeth and any abnormalities in the jaws.
Intra-oral cameras
Finally you can see what the dentist sees! These take some of the mystery out of what is happening in your mouth.
Regular cleanings
Professional cleanings every 3 to 6 months help you maintain a beautiful, fresh smile and optimal oral health. Regular periodontal assessments at these cleanings can identify gum problems at their earliest and most treatable stages.

You’ll receive all the information you need to make informed decisions about your dental care including the best way to care for your teeth between appointments.
Sealants
The back teeth have lots of grooves that can be tough to keep clean. This is a common spot for decay to start even with great dental hygiene. Application of dental sealants is painless and non-invasive and is extremely effective at preventing cavities especially for kids.
Fluoride
Topical fluoride applied at your cleaning appointment strengthens teeth and is effective in preventing and reversing early signs of tooth decay.
Therapeutic Nightguards
Grinding and clenching at night is a problem for a lot of people, and can be quite damaging to the teeth, and detrimental to the joints and muscles of the jaw. A customized guard (also called a splint or night guard) is an effective way to prevent damage and help to soothe the jaw joints and muscles.
Sports mouthguards
A sportsguard is a cushioned appliance that fits over the dental arch to help prevent tooth injury and reduce concussion during contact sports. Our sportsguards are custom-made and provide increased retention, comfort and protection over the ‘boil & bite’ type.
