Payment

If you do not have dental insurance, we ask that you pay at the time of the appointment.

We accept all forms of dental insurance including ODSP, OW, NIHB, HSO, and private insurance.

If you have dental insurance, we are able to send your claim electronically and in most cases the insurance company will reimburse us directly. If there is a portion of the cost that is not covered by your insurance (called a co-pay), or your insurance does not accept assignment of benefits, we ask that you pay for your services at the time of the appointment. For your convenience we accept Visa, Mastercard, Debit or cash.

Some insurance companies pay fixed allowances for certain procedures, while others pay a percentage of the charge, but it is rare for an insurance company to cover all dental costs. It is important to understand that our dental services are provided for you, our patient, and not to the insurance company. Ultimately the responsibility for payment of fees lies with the patient.

Of course our trained staff will be there to help you navigate the complicated world of insurance to ensure that claims are submitted in an efficient manner. We can also submit estimates for any major restorative dentistry electronically, directly to your insurance company to confirm coverage availability before treatment begins.

In some cases, for procedures that require a lab to provide the final restoration, a deposit toward the lab bill will be collected in advance of the final delivery of the prosthesis. An estimate and payment schedule will always be discussed before treatment begins.
